I do love a Loch Ness Country House Wedding – the venue itself is set in such a lovely spot that the photo opportunities are fantastic whatever the season and so back in August I was there to photograph the wedding of Andrea and John (Johnny) Walker – cool name isn’t it!
I met up with Andrea and her bridemaid Shona at Rosedean House, where they were having their hair and make up done, then it was a short drive back to Andrea and John’s new house where her pal Nell arrived to help Andrea get her dress on under the watchful eye of their gorgeous cat!
The ceremony was held inside the hotel as there was a slight drizzle however, as if by magic, the clouds parted and we had some sun so that everyone could get outside and enjoy their drinks and more importantly, the newlyweds could have some beautiful portraits done in the gardens which were full of sweetpeas and lavender so the smell was intoxicating.
John and Andrea had their nearest and dearest there to help them celebrate their big day and there was great fun being had, especially during the best man’s speech by John’s brother Neil.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day and congratulations to Andrew and John.
