Honeymoon Shoot Isle of Skye | Lucy + Tom

Lucy and Tom contacted me a few months ago to say that they were going to be honeymooning on Skye and were interested in a photo shoot. They got married last weekend in Nottinghamshire and then drove up, staying for a few days at Balmacara Mains guest house on the mainland, before heading to Skye for a few days. The weather yesterday was glorious – not a cloud in the sky and we spent a few hours pottering around the Sleat peninsula which has some remarkable locations. Congratulations Lucy and Tom and all the best for the future and please feel free to leave a comment for the happy couple below.

Nick and Carol - Beautiful photos of Tom, Lucy and the Isle of Skye. The light, the colour, the scenery - all so well done. Congratulations from Nick and Carol to Lynne (and the posers!!)

Natalie and Giles - Beautiful pictures. Tom and Lucy look gorgeous and so happy. Spectacular locations and wonderful weather! Wish we were there!

Lucy and Tom - Awesome! Lynne, thank you so much for capturing our honeymoon for us with these gorgeous images, particularly given the tricky light yesterday. We can't possibly choose a favourite! And yes, we are doing our "chuffed to bits" faces xx

duncan - wow they are gonna be chuffed with these! one small critic - if you could take the lights away from under the tree - slight distraction gorgeous all the same!!!!

Vow Renewal | Eilean Donan Castle | Karen & Alan

Karen and Alan arrived in the Highlands from the north of England where they live. They have been married for 10 years and were having a vow renewal ceremony at Eilean Donan castle. I went along to document it for them and here is a few images from the day. They were a very bubbly couple and, like most people who come here, totally in awe of our wonderful scenery, especially the view from where they were staying at Balmacara Mains.

Wedding Photography Braemar | Olivia & Craig

Last weekend I ventured bit further than normal, to Invercauld Castle near Braemar, for the wedding of Olivia and Craig. Last year, Craig was best man for John and Morag’s wedding at Loch Coruisk in May 2009 and this year the boys swapped around, with John being the best man. He did a grand job and his speech, and Craig’s, were fantastic.

The day was spectacular, the venue was gorgeous and the guests were treated to a surprise pipe band who sounded incredible as they marched up the drive and then performed a few well known Scottish tunes.

Olivia & Craig, it was a real pleasure to be part of your day and I wish you all the very best for the future. Everyone else, I hope you enjoy looking at these favourite images from the day and feel free to leave a comment below for the happy couple.
